eginald Goodjoin, bassist and native of Greenville, SC, began studying music at the age of 8 years old. During his formative years, he was introduced to gospel, jazz and the rhythm and blues of Motown. Reginald holds a bachelors degree in music and a Master of Counseling Education from South Carolina State University. He has collaborated with and served as music director with the Henderson-Davis Players of SCSU in their productions of Ain't Misbehavin', Caravan, Pearlie, Don't Bother Me I Can't Cope, Motown Review, and When Hell Freezes Over, I'll Skate.

In addition to working with Joe Sample, Max Roach, Clark Terry, Betty Carter, Fred Wesley and the late Dizzy Gillespie on the Black College Jazz Network Tour, Reginald was the first bassist to be inducted into the South Carolina University Jazz Band Hall of Fame. Reginald has accompanied gospel artists Tramaine Hawkins and Richard Smallwood for the National Black Presbytery Caucus, and served as bassist for the Ebony Fashion Fair under the musical direction of Theodist Rogers.

Reginald's past projects include Latin-Soul jazz artist Melina Almodovar, gospel artist Malvis Alexander and Covenant, The Pride Band and Tailor Made Jazz Ensemble and is currently working with H.B. Barnum.
